The closest and most friendly state institution to the people is the Pradeshiya Sabha. Similarly, the state institution that exists to fulfill the public and personal needs of the people is their local government institutions.

Accordingly, our aim should be to fulfill the expectations of the people of our jurisdiction in a more efficient and amicable manner. To that end, it is my responsibility to manage our physical and human resources more effectively.

It is our determination to build a healthy environment with all facilities for the people in our area by implementing the decisions taken by the House of Representatives, led by the Honorable Speaker, in a more meaningful and efficient manner.
